In Year 7 all students follow courses in:

- History & Geography
- Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education
- Music
- Visual Arts
- Technology
- Library and Information Literacy
In addition students in Year 7 are able to access one period per rotation of Special Religious Education. These lessons are delivered by a specialist teacher who works part time in the school.
Year 8 students follow courses in:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education
- History & Geography
- Technology
- Japanese
In addition they select four elective subjects from the following:
- Agriculture
- Visual Arts
- Food Technology
- Textiles
- Industrial Technology- Metal
- Industrial Technology- Timber
- Photography
- Games Skills & First Aid
- Music
Students study a different elective subject each term.
